This was actually the first sign the Black Bottom crew had hired me to do (this was actually the first sign I had ever painted!), but it took a little while to get a photograph to post.
The Black Bottom Social Club is a private club that hosts a wide array of parties and events, from barbecues to wild bachelor parties, movie nights and even a blues night. They have DJ's and live bands come play, and they sell food during the day. They have three bars, a dance floor and a pool table. Always a great time at the Black Bottom Social Club.
I'm still pleased with the sign. It's about 16 feet long (shorter) by approximately 3 feet...I forget now... but I needed to get together an image spread over two pieces of plywood. Fun stuff. The installation was interesting. (Thanks Blake and Drew! Always a big help...)

Black Bottom Cuts Barber Shop
3619-21 Chene Street, Detroit MI, 48207
I am particularly proud of this job. This is the second job I did for the Black Bottom. The barber shop. This time I could paint directly on the building, so I got a hold of some scaffolding and 1-shot and began painting- using a projector sitting on top of a pickup, attached to an extension cord running through the back door, until fairly late at night. KT helped me out quite a bit with the painting, and I'm pretty sure Blake came by with beers and watched. Another fun experience.
